Comfortable family villa in Afife with small local shops, restaurants and railway station. About 5km from Vila Praia de Ancora and 12km Viana do Castelo and wide range of shops and facilities. 2km to excellent Afife beach, famous for sand, sea and surfing.
Set in very large garden surrounded by vineyards with other houses dotted around. Entrance through gates at house end into large covered area/carport. At bottom end further gates into large parking area then down to pool 10x5m, 1-1.9m deep with large tiled surround and hot/cold shower room with WC. Extensive lawned areas with fruit trees. Particularly good house for children with tons of space to play in secure gated and walled garden.
House itself has large living room with large open fireplace, polished tiled floor and dining area, doors to terrace overlooking garden. Kitchen with large gas/electric cooker, dishwasher, pantry with freezer, door out to garden, covered barbecue/eating area and laundry room with washing machine.
Downstairs off living room are one small and one larger double bedrooms, bathroom then spiral stairs to upper floor with one twin and one double, both with sloping ceilings and probably best as accommodation for adventurous kids.
Linen (except beach/pool towels) provided. Maid service weekly and weekly linen change. Ideal for 1 or 2 families seeking a beach holiday and/or peaceful, comfortable base for exploring lovely coast and countryside hereabouts. Preferred arrival Saturday 1600, depart 1000. Other days by arrangement. Minimum booking 5 nights, except 7 mid-June to mid-September.
