Superbly renovated, village property dating from 18th century at Mexilhoeira da Carregacao, on east bank of river Arade facing Portimao and with Ferragudo and beaches just down the road.
Nine rooms (6 twins and 3 doubles) hosted by charming resident owner, comprehensively endorsed by clients of many nationalities. Front door opens into huge arched adega with reception area, honesty bar, dining room, guests' lounge with satellite TV and even a storage room for golf kit. Stairs up to three of the bedrooms (all air conditioned), Others are in older part of house, traditionally arranged each side of corridor with stairs down to lounge one way and out to gardens the other. Terraces to rear with pool, barbecue area, gardens and views over rooftops north towards Monchique mountains.
All rooms have ensuite shower room, hair dryer, wardrobe and mini bar. Those at the front are double glazed to eliminate any street noise. Laundry room with washer and dryer: no personal laundry service. Cots and highchairs (no extra charge). Several restaurants within walking distance and ten golf courses within 20km. You can also enjoy cycling, walking, tennis, swimming and boating.
Good choice for a refreshing break, whether simple relaxation or as sporting or energetic as you choose. Smoking permitted in gardens only. Minimum booking 3 nights or 2 nights if you are staying at another of our properties.
