Portfolio is an independent operator incorporated in 1997 and specialising in accommodation in Portugal. We don't sell packaged holidays. Nor do we focus on the major resorts. We offer holiday accommodation in attractive or different locations, all of which we've selected personally for the independent traveller to Portugal. We aim to be the most comprehensive source of independent holiday accommodation in Portugal. We've tried to include as much information and as many pictures of our properties as we can to show what's on offer. Do please contact us with any queries whatsoever and we'll do our best to help. Our aim is to help you discover Portugal rather than just the popular coastal resorts, although we do include carefully-chosen properties at some of these. Go just a little further and you'll find Real Portugal, a beautiful country with a unique personality and people waiting to welcome you. We offer the widest choice of holiday properties both on the coast and in the countryside. They're mostly owned by Portuguese people and range from the humblest fisherman's cottage to the grandest manor house. We have modern villas with pools, too. You can have a quiet holiday on the beach or by the pool, or you can explore Portugal's culture and traditions, or go horse-riding, jet-skiing, mountain-biking, walking, fishing, whatever. Accommodation is self-catering or on a room and breakfast basis depending on the type of holiday you prefer. Choose between Northern, Central or Southern Portugal or a combination of all of them. Portugal has an excellent main road system so it's easy to stay in one, two or a whole series of places during your visit. With three international airports (Porto, Lisbon and Faro) and flexible flights from UK into each, you can fly into one and out of another, hiring a car as you enter and dropping it off as you leave. Ideal for shorter breaks, touring programmes or two-centre villa holidays. |

Portfolio offers self catering and room and breakfast accommodation throughout Portugal. Click each property name or picture for descriptions, pictures, prices and availability. The minimum self catering booking is 3 nights (7 in July/August). Room and breakfast is 3 nights minimum all year, or 2 nights each at two or more properties. As far as possible arrival days are flexible to allow a short break or last minute holiday using cheaper mid-week flights. Car hire is available at Porto, Lisbon or Faro airports or transfers between Faro airport and any location in Algarve. Do please Contact Us with any queries.
