No 120 is an excellent duplex on the third floor (regret no elevator) of an historic building on a pedestrianised cobbled street in the middle of Alfama's medieval neighbourhood, within walking distance of most of the sightseeing in Lisbon and of Santa Apolonia rail station, which connects with northern Portugal and Spain. There's a car park at 3 minutes walk at Largo das Portas do Sol
The apartment combines medieval architecture with modern design and the decor is a mix of traditional Portuguese and oriental. The superb view over the Alfama rooftops and the special luminosity of Lisbon and the river Tejo create a particular atmosphere
On the first floor: large living room with two areas separated by the stairs and a curtain, a double sofa bed and single bed (185cm x 90 cm) for up to 3 extra people, one double and one single sofa, satellite TV, DVD and CD player; kitchen with washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven, fridge with freezer; bathroom with hydromassage tub and separate WC
On the second floor: one bedroom with a hand-carved double bed (160cm wide) in the Portuguese "Bilros" style and a large roof window with views; one bedroom with 2 wrought iron beds each 130cm wide; bathroom with hydromassage tub
